When you are young you feel like you are doing everything right. Even in the field of education you do the same. Having a university degree is becoming a status. When you get into the universities you want to do a course that would bring you to a bright future. You may consider it as your passion, ambition etc. After spending thousands of euros, you realize that the course you did, do not add anything into your life. Then your passion and ambition attached to a course will slowly disappear. You start thinking of a new approach to life. This happens because of the changing world. 

The advancement of technology that modifies the life every day cannot stop but move on with increasing the comfort of hard work. As a result, "robotization" take its roots in all the fields. The world of robots created a large number of job cuts. Robots function as a replacement for anything and everything in this world. Even to have a loving companion you can depend on the robots nowadays. They are programmed in such a way that they react even better than some of the human beings.

Some of the very profound professions like doctors, engineers, architects, IT, etc. are in the top list when it comes to the university studies.  A medical student would be thinking that once he or she has completed the Masters in the chosen field he or she would directly get into a job. But in reality, it does not happen. Because the need for real doctors and medical practitioners are getting less and less due to the replacement of robots which have the capacity to scan better and deduct the exact reason for an ailment.  In the near future you wouldn’t be surprised if there are scanning robots available at the entrances of  hospitals or even at a shopping mall where you pay a certain amount of money, and walk in and out, and get the printed result of your health situation. So where would be the future of the medical students? Wrong course!  They would have better followed a course that would give them enough strength to lead a happy and healthy life. Medical education should be oriented towards one’s own better health and happy life and that should be the aim of future medical education.

Are you an IT student? Then, you should be smarter than modern computers. Otherwise you are just a gamer who plays with digits and data. Your chance of winning the game depends on your skills and experience. Just having some diplomas in the IT section do not make you a better gamer. That need full dedication and full commitment to really out-smart the computers. In this modern world of fun, music, parties and enjoyments, we miss those dedication and commitment very often. So, nine out of ten who completed a Masters, in the IT sector, end up nowhere. Because they just fulfilled the targets of an institution and have the degrees. Science and technology is something that evolves and it is an ongoing process, so your understanding about the IT will be outdated at the moment you have your diploma or masters. Wrong course again! IT education should be future life oriented and not for performing the already existing situations. It would be okay if we have agreed together that we stop scientific developments and live with what we have.  But that is not a viable possibility.

Almost every day there are a few new apps appearing on the net. Most of them are just repetitions. Everyone thinks that they made something new and fantastic. But in reality, they are all copies of the same with a slight retouch. There are many IT companies already reducing the intake of their new staffs. It is mainly because most of the functions are automated and robotized. Now what are those IT specialists just out of the universities going to do with their Masters?  Now the only possibility is to spend some time in the artificial intelligence. It is still an unrealized concept. You see some signs of development here and there. And everyone is interested in the study of artificial intelligence. How many of those who do their masters in AI would come up with something? May be none. Because it is still in its developmental stage. Every year hundreds of research papers are out. Half of the time, energy, money that spent on such researches were diverted to create a value oriented life, it would have been benefiting humanity much more.

IT specialization is good but we still have to wait for a very long time for another Einstein or Isaac Newton to come up with a clear and distinct theory that would fit with the modern science. Even the theories of Einstein and Newton from the past are not acceptable anymore completely with the development of the modern science. So, if you think you can just become an Einstein or Newton with your University studies you are wrong. It is life that teaches you more theories, it is life that gives you more experience. The commitment and dedication, may be time to time a change in it, would result in bringing out something new. And most of the inventions and discoveries are accidental. There were not many important inventions that deliberately meant to be so. It all came out as some bi-products of other experiments.

Are you an engineering student? Of course, you would think you have a better scope than a medical or IT student. Yes, that is true. But you are placed with the most challenging task. A task to make others happy and comfortable. People are getting bored with the same structures, they are all looking for something new and more nature friendly. The designs and structures you learned in the universities may not really match with the needs of the modern world. Comfort, convenience and eco-friendly creations are your task. But you are still playing with the same boxes when it comes to the structures. And as a human being you are incapable of making a bigger change. If you really want to make a change, then you have to think out of the boxes. And that is a challenge. That will happen only if you are prioritizing the life values. Your engineering skills should adapt to the needs of the humanity and that should be in tune with the movement of the universe.

Are you a business student? Then what is your plan for the future?  Are you going to go with the same business patterns of the recent past? Most of them are already running short of breath. You have to find your own ways to create new businesses. And all those businesses should be in tune with the universe. If you think that you just run a business just for profit and money and you becoming a millionaire, is the success in your life, then you are wrong. Humanity is looking for real human beings who cherish real human values like empathy, compassion, kindness, and love. If your business does not bring any of these human values or if your business is a stumbling block in the building up those values, then you are doing a wrong business and you did a wrong course!

So, it is time to think of a different educational system, that would really benefit the lives of individual. An education system that represents humanity. Every educational institution, when they prefer to prioritize themselves with their specializations, humanity is deprived of their life values. There was a time when teachers aimed at the holistic development of their students.  In the course of time when specializations creeped into the education system, teachers became the slaves of the institutions and they have no choice other than what is asked them to do. An integral development of the person is not the priority of the institution, rather it is completion of the target which is demanded by the institution to supply their certifications. Most of the institutions are just running by the following regular patterns: application, selection, agreement, money transfer, target fulfillment, and certification. The guarantees for a job promised by most institutions remain as a utopia because the job market is not just looking for certifications. They give priority for experience. So, a fresh graduate may not reach the neighborhood of a job market after their graduation.  

It is time to come up with a challenge that makes a change in the education systems. There was a time when acquiring knowledge was a passion and part of life. Now sharing of knowledge became a business.  The more customers you have the more profit you make. And business is successful depending on the marketing and advertisements.
