One cable one socket Project
The picture above is a clear example how your table top
would be messy if you have all those devices at home or office. How nice and
peaceful it would be if we have just one connector that would fit for all those
devices. You can just imagine that how happy you would be even just thinking
about it. You would not be connecting all your devices at the same time to all
the connectors. That means you don’t need them all at once. With one or two
connectors, you would be able to manage all of them if it could fit with all
your devices.
I would be very happy if it was possible with one connector
I could manage all my devices. But unfortunately that is not possible, because
my table is full of cables from all different types of devices. However, I try,
I can’t make it in a different way, I can hide it but it is still there! If I
have 10 devices from 10 different makers, I have 10 different cables. That is
because each company wants to have their own particular type of cables and
connectors for their devices. And as a customer I am compelled to buy all those
things. And the companies just don’t give them for free, I have to pay for each
of those “going to be junk” stuff. Just
imagine, I have a device and a connector and I wanted to buy a new device from
a different maker and I can use the same connector, I would be happy to use the
same connector for my new device too. That will benefit me for less investment
for my new device. Most of the time if you like to buy a new connector or cable
for a device separately, it is also a big investment!
It is time to make a difference in this system of production
to make it better for the environment. An individual customer cannot make a
difference, it is very important that each and every company take the
responsibility of coming together to make the change in this system of
production. They have to come to a common agreement in the production for the
betterment of the environment, instead of company being very stubborn that the
customer have to use only the cables and connectors from the same maker.
Make
it more open and flexible the use of these connectors that everyone in the
world benefit from it. Why to kill this Earth by polluting it more for nothing.
This could have easily been solved by companies coming together to a common
agreement.
Objective
The main objective of this project is to create an awareness
in the companies to make one global model cable and socket for all their electronic
devices.
All the small electronic devices in this world should have
one type of socket and one type of cable for charging and data transmission.
This project looks like Globalization, but in reality, this
is to create less pollution on the Earth.
Advantages:
- Anyone can use any device anywhere in the world (Social benefit globally)
- People don’t have to buy new cable if they already have one for a new device (Reusable benefit)
- Reduced number of production of cables (Lesser number of companies, less air pollution)
- Saving time: No more waste of time in inventing new types of cables (Time benefit)
- Reduced amount of wasted cables (avoiding plastic and rubber pollution)
- Less toxins from the plastic and rubber (environmental benefit)
- Save money (Economical benefit)
- Less amount of stress for searching for the right cables (psychological benefit)
- Less messy table tops with so many types of connecting cables (Tidy Tables)
- 10. Availability (Always a cable available for all purpose)
Stop making connectors and spend that time in creating
something more useful and durable for the whole world. It saves time, energy,
money, and at the same time you save this beautiful Earth by not polluting it
more. You can try out inventing new things but the mass production of it should
take place only after proving that it is really useful and durable.
In the
modern world, there are companies that have mass productions of useless stuff
expecting that it is going to bring profit but most of the time those products
don’t get to the market as they expect. And thus, a lot of waste is produced.
This is a Global invitation for everyone to think and make
the right decision to make our world better.
